Lab #: Sample Post Title (DATE)

Objective:
What are we doing during lab?

Purpose:
Why are we doing what are we doing?

Procedure:
Write a numerical series of steps that explain what you did during lab. Make sure that you use full sentences and that they are easy to follow if you were to replicate them in order to perform each step exactly as you did during lab that day.

Data/ Observations:
Include your charts and all of the other observations you made, these should come straight out of you lab notebook notes from during lab.

Results/ Conclusions:
This is where you interpret your results and everything you learned today. You can discuss how you learned what learned and why you think it is important.

Storage:
This is where you mention where you stored your samples. Even if we do not store anything, don’t forget to mention that you rinsed the slides with bleach and D.I. water and set them to dry on the back lab counter.

Future Goals:
This is the part that is entirely up to you. With the skills you’ve gained from lab, what do you hope to achieve. This could also be where you elaborate more on microplastics and how you plan to test Tetrahymena.
