Baylor engagement & Research (BEAR) SYMPOSIUM

ILLUMINATING BAYLOR STEM

About

The BEAR Symposium illuminates STEM undergraduate, graduate, and faculty research.

The CEGSS-hosted Baylor Engagement & Research (BEAR) Symposium is modeled on a scientific conference. It is designed to promote professional development, collaboration, and cohesion by providing a forum for graduate students and faculty in STEM to showcase their research. By creating an academic environment for participants, from first year undergraduate students to senior faculty, its aim is to develop and improve personal and professional relationships across Baylor University’s diverse range of STEM fields. The Symposium is also an opportunity for students to develop important presentation and networking skills to use throughout their careers.
