CEGSS Biology symposium

Illuminating Baylor Biology

About

The CEGSS Biology Symposium illuminates Biology Graduate and Faculty research.

The CEGSS Biology Symposium is modeled on a scientific meeting. It is designed to promote professional development, collaboration and cohesion by providing a forum for Biology Graduate Students and Faculty to showcase their research for one another. It creates a forum for participants, from first year graduate students to senior faculty, to develop and improve personal and professional relationships within and outside of the Biology Department. Importantly, the Symposium is an opportunity for students to develop important presentation and networking skills they will use throughout their careers as early as Spring of their first year.
