Baylor School of Education has announced faculty searches for eight positions.
“Our adding this number of faculty in one year is historic,” said Dr. Michael McLendon, dean of the School of Education. “It represents the commitment of the University and the School to deepening the impact of our faculty, whose research focuses on issues essential and pivotal in society at large and whose transformative work with our students yields far-reaching results.”
Baylor’s School of Education, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019, ranks among the nation’s top 20 education schools located at private universities. With 50 full-time faculty members, the School’s growing research portfolio complements its long-standing commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring.
