(1) The purposes of conducting these surveys is to evaluate the success of Preset Your PhD in reaching our mission of sharing diverse, accessible science to learners of all ages. The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes and will consist of a series of statements to which participants will be asked to provide a 1-4 score relative to the degree they agree with the statement. There will also be opportunities to elaborate and provide freeform feedback. Many of the statements are based on the SAI II.

(2) We anticipate no foreseeable risks or discomforts to the participants.

(4) Because you do not have to provide identifying information, responses can be kept anonymous. We will not publish any quoted feedback without explicit permission obtained via email correspondence.

(6) Participation is voluntary, refusal to participate will involve no penalty or loss of benefits to which the participant is otherwise entitled, and the participant may discontinue participation at any time without penalty or loss of benefits to which the participant is otherwise entitled.
