Baylor in Greece and Turkey

Hello friends,

This year in the study abroad program Baylor in Greece and Turkey, we will be offering a range of courses. Particularly of interest will be the BIC courses: Social World 1, Biblical Heritage, and Capstone.  If you are interested, applications are now open and can be accessed at the link below.

Enclosed is a copy of the trip brochure and a list of all the courses that are being offered this year.  We’re very excited to be including the Italian island of Sicily on this year’s tour.  In the Ancient world, Sicily was a part of “Greater Greece,” and there were numerous Greek colonies and cities established there.  Sicily also plays an important role during the medieval period since it was the cross-roads of the Mediterranean world where French, Latin, Arab, and Byzantine (Greek) cultures all intersected.

The program fee will be $4,250.  That includes all lodging, breakfast and dinner each day, transportation within and between countries, entrance fees, Turkish visa, international health insurance for the duration of the trip, and private guides in each of our countries.  That does not include transatlantic airfare to Athens and from Istanbul, Baylor tuition, lunches, and personal expenses.
