Dr. Scales and Dr. Larry Lyon launched the Baptist College and University Scholars program in 2010 as a collaborative partnership between the Baylor Graduate School, The International Association of Baptist Colleges and Universities (IABCU) and IABCU Partner Schools. By identifying Baptist College and University Scholars from partner schools, the program is developing a strong group of  future faculty to serve within Baptist universities.
