  • Digital Humanities Initiative Spring 2023 Meeting #1 (of 2)
    • Monday, February 6
    • This faculty interest group with 40+ members meets twice per semester to discuss (1) incorporating DH into classroom, (2) DH research and funding, and (3) DH resources and technologies.

  • Textual Analysis using the Digital Scholar’s Lab
    • Friday, February 17
    • The Gale Digital Scholar’s Lab provides an online environment to create custom content data sets from the corpus of the library’s Gale Primary Sources holdings. Users can analyze and interrogate the data with the text analysis and visualization tools built into the platform.
    • Sarah Ketchley (Lecturer in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilization at the University of Washington and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Humanities Division at the University of Maryland University College) will be at Baylor University to lead a workshop using Gale’s Digital Scholar’s Lab.
  • Discovering DH: Honoring African American Stories
    • Wednesday, February 22
    • The University Libraries, College of Arts & Sciences, and Office of the Provost invite you to join the virtual presentation of Discovering DH: Honoring African American Stories.
    • Our speakers will address current projects in the digital humanities with an emphasis on the many ways African American stories can be researched and presented using DH approaches.
