Project Title: Signature Academic Initiatives: Baylor in the Americas
Background: The Baylor Libraries were asked to create visualizations to support Baylor in the Americas, one of five signature academic initiatives in Baylor’s proposed Academic Strategic Plan (see presentation, beginning slide 15). The data (draft, incomplete) was provided to us.
Description: These two example visualizations highlight Baylor’s interactions in the Texas/Mexico border region and Latin America, including the Caribbean. Interactions include research, international partnerships, and Center for Global Engagement (study abroad programs and international students).
