To need support and love is not a weakness. Everyone should realize this. Relying on others is necessary for survival and is fundamental to living a full life. Confessions of a Queen
I held my breath as I unwrapped the rose in my hand. I tore through the paper the same way children open presents on christmas, or PNM’s open their cards on bid day.
At my high school, the homecoming tradition is to present the nominees to everyone at halftime during the football game, and then have them open a hidden rose color. Everyone’s is red, except for the king and queen. Theirs is a white, and they step forward and are crowned. For that night, they are royalty. Continue reading
