Like many guys, I enjoy watching, discussing, analyzing and participating in sports. I grew up playing baseball, tennis, football, and basketball. I have always loved baseball and it has become a family event to go to a baseball game. Most of our family vacations have baseball involved somewhere in the itinerary. I have always been a Chicago Cubs fan, even though they have not had the most success in my lifetime. Recently, it has been hard to not be a Royal’s fan, being from Kansas City. I also really enjoy football and think that I know a lot more about the sport than I do. I love watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and of course, my Baylor Bears play every weekend. There is just something about watching sports that is unexplainably fascinating.

Besides sports, I enjoy being outside with my friends. Being in the outdoors, or just around campus, is so much more enjoyable than being cooped up indoors. You can be so much more active if you are outside rather than inside. You have more room, and can feel the perfection of the outdoors. The best part about the outdoors is being able to play sports and be active. You can play sports in arenas, or domes, but it does not compare to being able to be outside and feel the elements on your face.

I also enjoy being able to serve those around me. I love being able to help out and give a helping hand to those in need, or even just to those who look like they need something in their day just to make them feel better. It isn’t just big community service projects, but also just doing small things for people every day.
