About
I was raised in Leawood, Kansas, and lived there until I decided to attend Baylor University. I went to Blue Valley High School and was very involved. I decided to go to Baylor because I just felt a sense of belonging. I do not know how to describe it, but Waco felt like home the first time I stepped on campus. I had a couple of jobs when I was in high school. I was a basketball referee for the local children’s league for two years. I then worked for Dairy Queen for a short amount of time. The job that I currently have in the summers is with Youth Tech Inc., where I help teach kids how to make video games and other fun activities on the computer.
I am currently a freshman business student still undecided on what area I will focus on and ultimately in which I will get my degree. I have had thoughts of going into accounting or management, but I still have time before I have to make a decision. I volunteer at Waco K-Life, which is a ministry where I get to be around a group of kids from the time where they are in sixth grade until I graduate Baylor, and they finish their freshman year of high school. I love being able to hang out with the kids and getting to teach them about God’s word.
In the future, I plan on rushing KOT and being a member of a great community of men at Baylor. I plan on graduating in four years, even though it will be hard to say goodbye to Baylor. Right now, I do not know what exact job I will pursuit, but know that I will work hard and do the job right. I will always make sure that I am doing everything that I an do to make sure that everything that needs to be done is getting done.
