Each month, we post a processing update to notify our readers about the latest collections that have finding aids online and are primed for research. This month we have a few finding aids from the Archival Collections and Museums class that worked on archival processing projects with us here at The Texas Collection…and there will be more to come in upcoming months! Here’s the scoop for May:
- BU Records: Carroll Buildings, 1900-1903, undated (#BU/57): Correspondence regarding the furnishing of the F. L. Carroll Chapel and Library and the George W. Carroll Science Hall, as well as dedication programs from when the two buildings were dedicated.
- BU Records: Delta Tau Delta, 1987-1997, undated (#BU/332): These organizational records document the founding of the colony of Delta Tau Delta at Baylor University through its initiation as an official fraternity organization, roughly the first ten years of its existence. (Archives class)
- BU Records: Greater Baylor Campaign, 1927-1932 (#BU/100): Records documenting a 1920s-1930s fundraising campaign, with targeted donors including Texas Baptist churches and Baylor alumni. (Archives class)
