Five FNP students were selected to journey to Ethiopia for the 2012 Africa Capstone Trip. The students applied to complete a certain portion of their clinical hours at sites in Ethiopia. They committed to raising financial and prayer support for the trip, taking on additional study about tropical diseases and disorders. Each student prepared continuing education for the missionary and Ethiopian nurses and health care workers. Their dedication to caring physically and spiritually to people with huge needs is amazing and represents Baylor University, the Louise Herrington School of Nursing well. There every word and deed glorifies our Lord and Savior.
