What I Do: My Skills
Sometimes I wonder what skill I have? I am good at singing, but is that a skill? I’m a people person who is very good with communication, but is that really a skill? I’m not really sure what kind of skills I have! So here I’m going to name a few things that I think count, and you can decide whether or not you think it’s a skill.
- I’m good with communication
- I am good at most any sport (tennis is kinda iffy)
- I can throw a frisbee left handed (even though I’m right dominate)
- 8 times out of 10, I can tell you what number you are thinking
- I am good with Microsoft Office programs
- I am good with most any technology
- I am skilled at dropping my phone multiple times a day
- I am also skilled at non-graceful landings after a fall
- Through necessity, I have become adept at fixing a bicycle
- I learn quickly!
- I am excellent at target shooting
- I can sing fairly well (unless the people I know and love are lying to me….)
- I make friends easily and in any place
- Patience is a virtue. It is also a skill. I have to continue working on it!
- I can do just about anything I set my mind to
- I can mow with a riding mower AND a push mower
- I can (kinda) drive a stick-shift
- I am skilled in the English language
- I am a skilled Grammar Nazi
- I write essays well
Those are a few things, and you may disagree with some of them! That’s ok, I think they are skills. Some may double as attributes, and some you may think are silly (but you try throwing a frisbee with your non-dominant hand.) I’m sure there are a few more, I will add them as I think of them! Until then, I shall bid you adieu!
