I have many hobbies and activities that I enjoy such as hunting, fishing, skiing, traveling as well as being with friends and family like everyone else. If I had to pick a single favorite activity though, that would be hunting. Not only am I rifle hunter, but I am also an avid bowhunter. If it is legal to hunt, then you bet I am in the
woods chasing that critter whether it be a deer, duck, turkey, hog or anything in between. If I had to pick a favorite type of hunting it would probably be duck hunting. There is just something about seeing the world wake up early in the morning and seeing all the birds flying in the morning that reminds you of God’s beautiful creation.
I also enjoy fishing, both with a standard rod and reel, as well as fly fishing. I have caught thousands of fish since I was a small child when I first started fishing. I have been fishing in the smallest of ponds and streams, up to deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and about everything in between. My favorite species to target while fishing is probably a Largemouth Bass. They are such a common fish, yet can grow to be over 10 pounds and are so fun to catch!
Just like everyone else I enjoy being around my friends and family, and traveling to new destinations with them. I have traveled to 14 different countries across Europe, the Caribbean, and North and Central America (see list below). I have also been to 23 states across the United States. Traveling has allowed me to experience new cultures and things that I would never see if I were to just stay in Texas my whole life. For example, I would never get to have the excitement of snow skiing, since there is not really much snow here in Texas. I also would not be able to experience other cultures such as third world countries and realize how truly blessed I am first hand.
