The campus tour of The Saint Johns Bible Heritage Edition shines as a highlight of Fall 2023. The Heritage Edition is a fine art replica of The Saint John’s Bible, which is a modernly created complete text of the Bible, handwritten and illuminated using medieval techniques and tools.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the commissioning of the Saint John’s Bible, the Heritage Program of Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota embarked on a pilgrimage tour of prominent Anglican institutions in England, where the Bible was conceived and principally created. This tour inspired our team to embark on our own tour, to share all seven volumes of Baylor’s set with the campus community.
The tour included stops at the Baylor Sciences Building, the Foster Campus, the Mayborn Museum, the Tidwell Bible Building, the Simpson Athletics and Academic Center, and Truett Seminary,
