Photography

My interest in photography and film was sparked by a friend of mine, Thomas Williamson, who attended UCLA’s film school.  When I was in 7th and 8th grade, Thomas was an intern at the church I attended.  He was a role model to me because of his actions and and character.  We hung out a bunch and I would watch him film or make videos.  Our church made funny videos for our student ministry and Thomas was in charge of it.  I got involved with it and starred in some of the videos.  As we created the videos, I learned filming techniques and good ideas for how to get a certain shot or certain look.  Furthermore, this experience introduced me into the different programs used for editing.

Recently, I have seen some videos created by Devin Graham (YouTube channel: Devin Super Tramp) that have inspired me.  He shoots and creates videos about random fun things to do such as a giant rope swing and even re-enacts Assassin’s Creed.  The videos are awesome and I want to film the same type of videos.
