While we may all use the term leadership often and without hesitation, we seldom stop to think about exactly what we mean when we say leadership. Indeed, we may all conceive of this concept somewhat differently, and thus it is important to consider the various conceptions and definitions for leadership. Throughout this course we will be exploring various leadership theories, with a focus on how we, as emerging leaders, can use the various approaches to inform our own understanding and practice of leadership. The e-portfolios that each student is compiling will showcase the students’ development as an emerging leader.
