There is officially only one week of classes left after today! After classes end we will have a week of finals and then we are done for the spring semester. I should be finished with everything for classes by May 12th.
I ended up choosing which apartment I will be living at during my residency earlier this week. The only drawback was that the apartment wasn’t available when I had planned to start my residency. I was able to push my start date back by a week, which well be very helpful with my moving plans. Had I not been able to I would’ve commuted for a week or stayed at a hotel, but I am also going to be packing leading up to my move so starting a bit later was the most ideal option for me.
Since I have some time off before I begin my residency I am planning on going home to Ohio to visit with my family. I found out that my brother is going to be home at the same time, so I am looking forward to seeing my whole family! Several of my college friends also live fairly close to my hometown, so I am planning to visit them as well. I haven’t been home since December, so I am looking forward to seeing my family and friends and catching up. It will be a nice break before beginning my residency in June!
I have a lot to look forward to! I just need to get through the next two weeks!
