I currently go to Baylor University and I am studying Exercise Physiology and Pre-Med. I plan on attending medical school at Johns Hopkins University and using my degree to work and help my parents pay for my schooling. Then, I will get through my residency and fellowship to become a pediatric dermatologist. When I feel the time is right I will launch my skin care line and hopefully I am able to help people find products that suit they’re skin types for a reasonable price. Then I might look into opening a private practice depending on where God takes me.

Color Guard

Color guard is honestly the best thing that happened to me in high school. I thank all of my teammates and mainly my instructor for helping me be more open with others and myself as well. I started out super shy and afraid of mistakes but ended up being very outspoken and a leader of the group. I honestly do not think I would be the same person without haven gone through all trials of the activity.

Powerlifting

My senior year, I decided to finally put myself into powerlifting to build my physical strength. As the season progressed I realized that I was pretty good at it! I ended up with the 1st place metal for 3 meets in a row and was the first in my region for a while. I ended up having a bad day and not making it past the regional competition. However, I got most valuable female lifter for the season and I fell in love with the sport!

All Parts to a Full Face

As you may know there are many aspects to a full face of make-up. If you are a makeup lover like myself you know a lot of this terminology and where each products go to on your face. However if you do not know then it can kind of all blend together and become confusing. So, hear is a table of all the products that contribute to a beat face!

Parts of the Face Products Other Uses
 Eyes  False Eyelashes, Eyeliner(liquid and pencil), Eyeshadows, Glitter, Mascara, Eyeshadow Primer, Eyelash Glue, Glitter Glue
  •  Eyelash Glue can be used as glitter glue
  • You can use eyeshadow +  petroleum jelly to make a tinted lip balm
Eyebrows  Eyebrow Pencil, Eyebrow Pomade, Eyebrow powder, Eyebrow Gel
  • Eyebrow pencil can be used as eyeliner
 Face  Foundation(powder, liquid, bb creams, etc), concealer, Setting Powder, Blush, Highlighter(powder or liquid), contour products(powder or liquid),
  • Concealer can be used to liquid contour or prime eyelids
  • blush and highlighters can double as eyeshadows
 Lips

 Liquid Lipsticks, Lipsticks, Lip Gloss, Lip Liner

(these can all range from matte to glossy)
  • Any kind of lip products can be used as liquid eyeshadows or eye pencils

Foundation Base

You cannot build a house on a shaky or faulty foundation! The same goes for makeup, your base so always take priority and you should make effort to have the smoothest canvas for the rest of the art work going on your face. I am always one for a bargain but I feel like if anything you should splurge on the products that go towards your base. Look out for the next post to see which makeup products to where!

Eye Looks!

Since I was in color guard,  I was required to wear makeup for perfomances. Over the years I have grown to love makeup and I love to try out new crazy colors and tricks! One of my favorite eye looks is a half cut crease which suits my hooded eye lids. However, there are many different types of eye looks including but not limited to:

  • Cut Crease

  • Half Cut Crease

  • Smokey Eyes

  • Halo Eyes

 

  • Cat Eyes

  • Any look involving glitter!

  • Etc.
