Welcome to the Baylor Chemistry & Biochemistry Student Ambassadors Blog!  We are so glad you are here.  Whether you are a student interested in Baylor, current student, parent, or more, we hope our blog can be a resource for you.

Who are we?

We are the Student Ambassadors for the Baylor Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry!  This means we are current undergraduates at Baylor majoring in chemistry or biochemistry, and we have been selected to help both prospective and current students in our department be successful.  In addition to the blog, we hold weekly office hours, run the department’s social media, give lab tours, host workshops, share information on internships and scholarships, attend recruitment events, and much more.  We are here for YOU, so please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.  If you want to learn more about each of us individually, go to our About Us page here.

What is the purpose of this blog?

We created this blog to be a highly accessible resource for students and parents, whether you are currently at Baylor or merely interested in learning more!  We hope that by sharing our own perspective and experiences, you might better see what your Baylor journey could be like.  We also want to share some practical advice and tips to help you navigate your time in college and avoid some common pitfalls.

What kind of topics will we be posting about?

We will be mainly be writing about our most frequently asked questions, including (but not limited to) being premed, undergraduate research, and study tips!  Other potential topics include internships, resources offered at Baylor, student life, time management, advising, and much, much more.  We also want to highlight our amazing faculty and our fellow students, and hopefully their stories and insights will be an inspiration to you.  If there is something you would like to see us post about, please do not hesitate to contact us with suggestions!
