“B” Association to Honor Former Receiver Matt Clark

The “B” Association and Baylor Athletics will recognize former Baylor receiver, Matt Clark, as a 2022 Baylor Football Legend at the Baylor vs Albany game on September 3rd at McLane Stadium. 

Clark earned four varsity letters for the Bears from 1984-87. As the team’s top receiver, he helped lead the Bears to consecutive 9-3 season records in 1985 and 1986, and back-to-back bowl championships with wins over LSU in the ‘85 Liberty Bowl and Colorado in the ‘86 Bluebonnet Bowl. Clark currently ranks 3rd all-time in Yards Per Reception averaging 18.3 yards per catch.  He earned All-Southwest Conference honors in 1985, and he is a member of Baylor Football’s All-Decade Team of the 1980s.  Also a standout in the classroom, Clark was a 2-time Academic All-America honoree (1985 and 1986), and he was a member of the GTE Academic All-Conference team in 1987.

Currently, he is a Managing Director in the Valuation Advisory group at Stout, a global investment bank and advisory firm specializing in corporate finance, valuation, financial disputes, and investigations.
