Several “B” Association members have contacted us to inquire about the current health status of former “B” Association Executive Director, Dutch Schroeder, so we are writing to update you on his condition. Several weeks ago, “B” Association Assistant Director of Operations, Tammy Hardin, and I drove to Clifton, Texas, to visit Dutch where he lives with his daughter, Becky. We visited with Dutch for nearly an hour. He was delightful as always. While he does not go out nearly as often any longer, his health appeared to good. The home he shares with Becky is beautiful and comfortable. Their home has a large, screened-in, outside patio where Dutch watches baseball and other sporting events on a large screen patio TV. He was very alert and we shared a lot of memories from the past.

You might be disappointed if you try to call Dutch on his cell phone. He does not answer calls much any longer, and his voicemail is full. However, if you would like to communicate with him, we have arranged a way for you to do so. Please send your correspondence to Dutch Schroeder to the “B” Association’s address below and our staff will make sure he receives it. I know he would love to hear from you.
