Baylor’s Brittney Griner takes the role of number one draft pick for the WNBA in 2013. She was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury. Shortly after she signed a contract to be sponsored by Nike. Projected to play really well and above the rim as she did in college, the Phoenix Mercury will utilize her talent well.
Baylor’s own Terrance Williams was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. He plans to play wide receiver and is projected to hold the spot of the 3rd receiver for the team behind well known Miles Austin. Terrance is a tall, physical player and has proven his ability to score from all parts of the field.
Patrick Dopson put out an album in 2012 entitled Open the Heavens. Patrick, born in Alabama with a soulful voice that could make anyone feel the presence of God, holds his own with this album in the genre of gospel music. If you’ve never heard him sing, I suggest Patrick’s Keep Me which is featured on the album
Kelly Rowland’s fourth album is now in stores! Talk a Good Game shows a more vulnerable side to Kelly that most fans have yet to experience. Definitely an album worth buying.
Baylor’s very own Pierre Jackson has been drafted! In the second round the Philadelphia 76ers drafted Pierre to continue his basketball career. Pierre like Baylor’s Brittney Griner will play at the next level this coming 2013-2014 season
New album out! Much anticipated sophomore album from J. Cole. On this album he speaks of his faith and how he got caught up in his career and the evils that come with it. He talks a little about how he let those he cares about most down trying to become a star. He says he plans to return back to his ways and continue to give his fans the real him. Very good album overall
