Baylor Traditions

Now I didn’t go to Baylor as an undergrad and honestly I never heard anything in particular about the traditions the school has. This has slowly but surely changed over my time here and I have to give the school credit for having some pretty creative ides.

This doesn’t specifically refer to the Dr. Pepper hour, which was formerly known as another large beverage corporation hour before it. Although interesting, it just seemed like free dessert to grab every now and then. Diadeloso on the other hand is another story. Not only is it a day to celebrate the long history of Baylor but they also didn’t think we should have classes either. At first I was a bit confused at the enormity of it all but then a I was informed of the litany of things available to do on campus in order to celebrate. Festivities abound and the main lawn will host a concert of the masses to enjoy. It really is all pretty spectacular and a great way to end another great semester.

There are a lot of things Baylor does well and this is only another addition. Its all in good fun and presented as a great way to be involved.
