For our media group project we are covering the issue of gun control.  The last time I wrote about this on my blog there was a shooting a little earlier in the semester at the Navy port killing many people.  On the first day on November there was a shooting at LAX airport in California.  The gunman had shot and killed two TSA agents before being shot and brought into custody.  The media coverage right now has been overshadowed by the subject with Obama Care.  Though this is a very important topic to Americans, in less than one month the anniversary of Sandyhook Elementary shooting will be upon us.  There was also another shooting by a student in a school three weeks ago that shot his teacher who was an ex-marine and injured two other students before taking his own life.  Shootings involving children under the age of 18 are becoming more prevalent everyday.  It will be interesting to see if anyone will notice this trend of children being involved in shootings.  There is breaking news Andrew Zimmerman has been arrested for a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in Florida.  Zimmerman was on trial for the killing of Trevon Martin and was acquitted the charges this past summer.  There has been a lot of coverage on the internet in blogs and virtual news over the subject of gun control.
