Free Food Events

The Baylor Food Insecurity Work Group hosts events in which fresh fruits and vegetables are distributed to all students and community members.

  • Baylor Free Farmers Market: A once a semester event hosted on Fountain Mall right in the middle of Baylor’s Campus.  This event serves to provide the students with fresh fruits and vegetables as well as raise awareness regarding issues surrounding food insecurity.  Each Free Farmers Market serves nearly 2,000 students with over 30,000 lbs of food distributed at each event. The next Baylor Free Farmers Market:
    • November 7, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM!

This event was made possible by donations procured by Pastor Reuben Andrade and the Family of Faith Worship Center!

For the 2018-2019 academic year, we served 2,185 students!  On top of that, we also served hundreds of Community Members and Baylor and Aramark Employees!
