College is all about being by yourself. You realize things about you that you didn’t even know you did. Not having those people with you that know everything about you is scary, because you now have to open up all over again. You also are on your own schedule; so yes, sometimes eating in the dining hall alone is OK. Having no older person in your life to tell you where to be and where allows you to make mistakes and learn from them, and hopefully become more organized and reliable.
