You know you’re an MBA candidate when on Thanksgiving Day you receive an email to go over the finishing touches of your strategy paper. These are the moments you realize that your pursuit of higher education and higher career goals require a unique set of skills.
As usual I spend the holiday with my family and it was my nephew’s first time to try turkey. To be honest, it didn’t go over quite well as the little guy had trouble chewing considering he only has so many teeth. Other than that particular incident, it was another great day and another Cowboys win! However, it was also a sign that my time at Baylor is almost over and I still had quite a few things to do.
Once you’re in that “mode”, work never seems to end. With the strategy paper I mentioned, an OB paper, and two finals next week I have plenty to keep me busy. I enjoy it though and am not quite ready for it to be over.
