TAG time…Time Alone with God. with each devotion you are invited to reflect. reflecting on the day, the questions, your life, this trip, or even God himself. Self reflection is an important part of this trip and life in general. the goal of this practice is to become self conscious of your surroundings, the creation that we are involved in. this is an astronomically deep thought provoking experience it can be as easy or as challenging as you want it to be.
Little Tree goes to the Secret Place, his Secret Place, where he can see everything without being seen. it is here where he can enjoy the life passing around him. An appreciation and a humbling act.
Sometimes we find ourselves in a Secret Place, sometimes unintentional, but always profound. that personal space that we can create wherever we roam.
This week at Cookson Hills i encourage you, starting tonight to find your secret place. It may take some time, it may take some adventure, maybe some thought or even just luck and curiosity. Maybe it’ll be your ears that guide you to the sound of the trees, your nose to the smell of wildflowers, or your eyes to a nook among nature. Wherever you go, find its purpose, enjoy its simplicity, and reflect, your time alone may be the answer you didn’t know you needed. After its your Secret Place, its there for you, and maybe its not suppose to be a place at all, but a State of Mind where you find peace and your place in the big world around you.
