Stephanie Fontenot

Stephanie Fontenot is a Junior University Scholar’s major at Baylor University. She was born and raised in Lake Jackson, Texas. She joined the team in Spring of 2013 and will graduate with her Bachelor’s degree in May of 2015. She plans on attending medical school or graduate school after she finishes her undergraduate degree and wants to work in the medical field either as a doctor or a researcher. Besides research, Stephanie serves as a lab TA for General Chemistry.

Current Research:

“Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) will be used in combination with western blotting and collision induced dissociation (CID) time of flight (TOF) mass spectrometry (M/S) to see degradation patterns on the several protein.”
