Jackie Lochridge

Jackie is a first year graduate student that joined the group in the Fall of 2013, and she also serves as a teaching assistant for the general chemistry laboratory. She received her Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Seattle University in 2013 and plans on receiving a PhD in analytical chemistry upon completion of her current degree. She is originally from  Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduation, Jackie would like to do government, specifically military, related research in either the public sector or private sector.

Current Research:

“My main interests are remote sensing (specifically of explosives) and analytical uses of lasers. I am currently working on peptide-metal complex structure through H/D exchange and manipulating conditions to see if interconversion between peptide isoforms is displayed in SIMPLISMA-deconvoluted IM-MS peaks.”
