SOE Graduate Named VP for Diversity at Hendrix College [02/11/2016]

DionneJackson-Blog-325Hendrix College education professor Dionne B. Jackson, a 2010 Baylor School of Education doctoral graduate in Curriculum and Instruction, will become the private college’s first vice president for diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer beginning July 1.

The Conway, Ark., college said it created the position in line with its 2015-2020 Hendrix College Strategic Plan, which emphasizes increasing diversity on campus and ensuring inclusion at all levels of the college.

Jackson’s responsibilities will include supporting the Hendrix Aspire Scholarship partner network and developing sustainable programming to recruit, develop and mentor Hendrix Aspire Scholars.
