Three candidates for dean of the Baylor School of Education will visit Waco for on-campus interviews during the month of February, according to the latest update from the search committee. The update also describes the interview schedule and process.

Two-day visits will occur on Feb. 16-17, Feb. 23-24, and Feb. 25-26. Candidates will meet with faculty, staff, students and others.

At this time, the names of the candidates have not been released. Shortly before the interview dates, members of the on-campus community will be able to use Baylor log-in credentials to learn more about each candidate before meeting the candidate.

After all the on-campus interviews have been completed, the search committee will solicit feedback from all those who participated in the on-campus interview process.

Search committee chair Dr. Michael Matier said, “In combination with the information gathered from reference checking by the search committee, this candid, descriptive, specific and direct feedback from individuals will be critical to informing the committee’s deliberations and will provide a primary basis for recommendations to the provost about the suitability of each finalist to become the next dean of the School of Education.”
