My Baylor

Baylor

I have only been at Baylor for about 2 months, and already I feel that it has become my home away from home. There are countless things that I could say that I like about this school, but that wouldn’t fit on one page. So here below I will list four things that I like about Baylor University.

1. Football

In the past couple of years, Baylor has become an incredibly strong, winning team. This provides an awesome environment for the football games; the insane student section, cheering fans, and points upon points being racked up by our offense makes for an awesome Saturday.

2. Community

Welcome week community activites

Baylor, being the small campus that it is, has a lot of community. Everyone treats each other very nicely, and you never feel left out of anything. In fact, this was one of the leading reasons of why I chose Baylor as opposed to a school with a much larger campus. I enjoy the fact that everyone enjoys each others company. I’m glad that I get to go to a school with such a strong sense of community.

3. Line Camp

My line camp group at Floyd Casey Stadium

One of my favorite parts about Baylor was line camp. This is something that introduced me into the Baylor family, and it was an awesome week at that. I met people that I am still friends with today. The activities were fun, and being able to go to Independence to view the original site of Baylor was very cool. I am glad Baylor offers activities like this because it made the transition to college easier than I thought it was going to be.

4. The Campus

Baylor’s campus was definitely one of the deciding factors in my choice to go here.  With all the statues, awesome buildings, vegetation, and pretty much everything else, Baylor’s campus is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. I’m very glad that I am fortunate enough to go to a college with such a nice campus.
