Family

and the morals they instilled in me

I was Born in the small town of Magnolia Texas, which is located about an hour west of Houston. My father co-owns and works in Cutbirth and Sanderson DDS and my mother is the office manager of three of his dental practices. I have one brother and one sister, both older than me. My parents an

d my siblings have had a huge impact on my life.

Mom and Dad have always taught us right from wrong. They have showed us our entire lives how and why to do the right thing. Honor and trust is a huge part of our family and it was instilled in me from a young age that trust is something than can be gained and more importantly something that can be lost. This is why I try to lead such an honest life.

I remember one time my Grandfather was reminiscing about his time as a navigator on a B23 bomber in world war 2. He told me that his plain was hit by some artillery fire and one of the shots came through the hull and hit him in the h

and, which upon return to the United States caused him to be awarded the purple heart. I thought this sounded like an amazing story of glory until he told me he refused it. I obviously asked him why and he said it was because he did not deserve it. In his eyes so many men had died and faced such severe injuries than a shot in the hand was not something that warranted the purple heart. That is a story that has stuck with me my entire life and showed me the true meaning of humility. Without the influence of my family I do not know where i would have ended up in life and that is why i thank the Lord every day for how blessed I am to have them.
