Internal funding announcement: OVPR Postdoctoral Fellowship

This fall, the OVPR  will accept applications for its postdoctoral fellowship program.  The program is intended to build on Baylor faculty members’ existing research strengths by providing funding for 12-month postdoctoral research fellowship positions. The positions carry minimal teaching responsibility with the intent that most of the fellows’ time and effort be spent helping faculty enhance and expand their research.

The postdoctoral positions are initially awarded for one year with a second year extension available for fellows who are successful. Fellowships are competitively awarded and all Ph.D.-granting departments are eligible to apply. Preference is given to proposals from research clusters (either within or across departments and colleges/schools) that allow the fellowship to be shared by two or more faculty members.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013 at 12:00 noon; more information and application instructions are available on the OVPR website.  Contact Blake Thomas at 710-3153 with questions about the program.
