Big congratulations to recent MPH graduate Kacie Kaneshiro (’25) and current MPH student Charlotte Nwagwu (’26), who presented their research at the National Environmental Health Association Annual Educational Conference in Phoenix, July 14–17, 2025! This was an exciting opportunity to share their work with public health professionals from across the country and represent Baylor on a national stage.

Charlotte said, “presenting at the conference was a formative experience that allowed me to bridge my academic training with real-world environmental health practice. The feedback I received encouraged me to see how my research can contribute to public health and sustainability efforts.”

Of course, the trip wasn’t all work—Kacie and Charlotte also made time for a little adventure, taking in the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon. A perfect way to cap off an unforgettable experience!
