MPH@Baylor is Growing!

The MPH@Baylor family is growing! We are thrilled to announce the additions of some fantastic new members to our MPH@Baylor team. Each individual brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and all are dedicated to ensuring that our online MPH students have the best possible experience throughout their academic journey. Trevor Allison, M.S.Ed.

Student Support Manager

Trevor Allison is the Student Support Manager for the MPH@Baylor program. He graduated from Baylor with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (News-Editorial) (2012) and Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction (2015). He has been a classroom social studies teacher in Waco area public schools and has most recently worked at Baylor as an Accommodation Specialist in the Office of Access and Learning Accommodation. Trevor lives in the Waco area with his wife and three daughters and enjoys reading multiple books and watching soccer, when he has the time.


Shaunda Brainard

Admissions Manager

Shaunda is the Admissions Manager for the Master’s in Public Health online program here at Baylor University.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tarleton State University, showcasing a solid foundation in business and administrative principles.  She is a lifelong learner driven by a passion for helping others achieve their educational aspirations.  Her dedication to educational advancement and fostering a supportive learning environment underscore her role in shaping the academic journeys of aspiring students.  Shaunda’s professional journey exemplifies a blend of academic achievement and a genuine desire to empower others in their pursuit of knowledge.


Kandace Parks, PMP

Program Manager

Kandace Parks is an alumna of Baylor University. She previously worked as an Admissions Counselor for the university in North Houston and has returned as a Program Manager. She enjoys fitness, travel, trying new restaurants, and community service.


Kristina (Kris) Smith, MPH

Placement Manager

Kris has worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for 25 years with her most recent position as Pathology Residency program coordinator.  She has been married to her husband for 28 years, and lived in Colorado before moving to Minnesota, where they currently reside. They have one son, Paul, who is a Staff Sargent at Fort Benning (Moore), GA, his wife Jenn, and grandsons David and Stephen.
