Waco is a rapidly growing city in the heart of Central Texas. Its long history of being a center for trade and culture once made it a rising rival for the size and importance of Dallas. Today, that growth has been renewed and much of Waco’s potential is being realized as tourism and economic opportunities expand. However, during this great shift, there is a critical need to preserve the places of history that have made Waco so important. This website is dedicated to providing the necessary resources, explanations, and information that can allow citizens, businesses, and nonprofits to flourish here while also maintaining the key sites that contribute historic value to the city.
