Web of Science. SciELO Citation Database

SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) is a program of the Sao Paulo Research Foundation for the cooperative publishing of open access journals on the internet. It is supported by the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development and is a partnership with the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information. SciELO content includes regional journals from Latin American and the Caribbean as well as titles from Spain, Portugal and South Africa.

American Doctoral Dissertations

A digital version of  the only comprehensive record of dissertations accepted by U.S. universities during coverage dates. Includes those universities that did not send their dissertations to UMI.  Taken from the print index, Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities 1933-1955 and provides full page images of the original print index. May be searched by author, title, subject and university.  Beware that when Ebsco says PDF full text it is not full text of the dissertation but full text of the entry in Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities which is only a brief bibliographic record.

Routledge Handbooks Online

Provides peer-reviewed content of standard and current research and trends in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Serves as a guide to theory and methods, the key sub-disciplines, and contemporary primary debates.

Dictionary of American Regional English (Digital DARE)

Represents the full panoply of American regional vocabulary, from Adam’s housecat to Zydeco and has long been consulted by a wide range of scholars and lovers of language and regional nuance. Oxford Bibliographies. African Studies

Offers peer-reviewed annotated bibliographies on African culture, history, and society. Introductory essay provides a review of current research trends and issues. Bibliographies are browseable by subject area and keyword searchable.
