National Aeronautics and Space Administration PubSpace

Contains all peer-reviewed scientific publications and associated data from NASA funded authors and co-authors. Does not include patents, publications that contain material governed by personal privacy, export control, proprietary restrictions, or national security law or regulations. Filter results by article attribute, text availability, publication date, and research funder. Uses PubMed Central interface.

Science in Context

Combines several sources of information into a single database covering popular topics in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, General Science, Health, Medicine, Math, Engineering, Technology, Physics, Astronomy, and biographies of important scientists. Indexes and provides abstracts for popular and scholarly articles, news sources, video, and reference works. Browse broad topic areas suggested or search by keyword or advanced search. Limits include document type and year. Provides maps displaying U.S. demographics on selected topics.

Journal Citation Reports

Provides information for journal evaluation using citation data including total cites, impact factor (with and without self-cites), 5-year impact factor, citable items, cited half-life, citing half-life, Eigenfactor score, article influence score, % articles in citable items, normalized Eigenfactor, and average JIF percentile. Also available are ranking by both Web of Science and Essential Science Indicator categories. Find journals by title or category. Can limit to open access journals only.

The Baylor Libraries recently acquired additional backfiles for this resource, moving the years of indexed content to 1965 to present for the Science Citation Index and the Social Sciences Citation Index.  Previously, the indexed content was 1970 to present).

Indexes journal articles, conferences, monographs, reports, dissertations, and some patents in physics; electrical and electronic engineering; computing; control engineering; information technology; mechanical engineering; and production and manufacturing from 1969. Search by keyword, author, title, numerical data fields, chemical data fields, CODEN, patent number, etc. Web of Science.  This version of Inspec replaces the version we had via Elsevier.

Web of Science. SciELO Citation Database

SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) is a program of the Sao Paulo Research Foundation for the cooperative publishing of open access journals on the internet. It is supported by the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development and is a partnership with the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information. SciELO content includes regional journals from Latin American and the Caribbean as well as titles from Spain, Portugal and South Africa.
