American Doctoral Dissertations

A digital version of  the only comprehensive record of dissertations accepted by U.S. universities during coverage dates. Includes those universities that did not send their dissertations to UMI.  Taken from the print index, Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities 1933-1955 and provides full page images of the original print index. May be searched by author, title, subject and university.  Beware that when Ebsco says PDF full text it is not full text of the dissertation but full text of the entry in Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities which is only a brief bibliographic record.

Educational Administration Abstracts

Provides indexing and abstracting for articles in journals related to the administration of primary, secondary and post-secondary educational facilities and programs. Subjects covered include: personnel, curriculum, school-community relations, supervision, minority group relations, and professional education. Educational levels include: early childhood education, K-12, community colleges, and higher education.

ProQuest Social Sciences Premium Collection

Covers all of the social sciences with deep coverage of sociology and politics, and extending to criminal justice, education, linguistics, and language behavior. Offers abstract and indexing files on over 14,000 titles, totaling around 15 million records. This is combined with more than 1,800 full-text scholarly journals and other sources including full-text dissertations, SSRN Political Science Research Network working papers and most recently added, sociology videos from INTELECOM. ProQuest International Datasets

Provides aggregated global macro-economic and demographic datasets from national governments, international organizations, and research firms on a national or sub-national (city, state, or province) level. Users can compare data from multiple sources and share their findings. ProQuest.

Statistical Abstracts of the World

Provides statistical data or citations to data from approximately 40 national governments’ statistical abstracts as well as compendia issued by international organizations and research firms. This resource works similarly to ProQuest Statistical Abstract of the U.S. and includes data that is not easily found elsewhere. Full text options for accessible data include PDF files, GIF formatted tables, and Excel spreadsheets. ProQuest.

Oxford Bibliographies. Education

Offers peer-reviewed annotated bibliographies on Educaton. Introductory essay provides a review of current research trends and issues. Bibliographies are browseable by subject area and keyword searchable. A unique collection of statistics covering a wide range of socio-economic topics using collections of data sets taken from hundreds of disparate primary sources, including both official national and international abstracts – back to 1750 and up to 2010.
