Hey Everyone!

We had another great day in Kota Kinabalu today! For breakfast, we went to a local restaurant and enjoyed some exotic juices and noodles with pork. I especially enjoyed the intestines, hearts, and livers in my soup – definitely a new experience for me. 🤯

After that, we headed over to Sabah Theological Seminary to practice some of our music for the concert on Friday. Then we went to a chapel service at the seminary, which took place in 3 different languages – English, Chinese, and Malaysian! Dr. Bradley gave a message on Psalm 137, and we sang a classic anthem called the Majesty and Glory of Your Name as an offertory. To conclude the service, we sang the doxology in three languages simultaneously – pretty cool if you ask me. 😎

We then left to go to a Chinese (Dim Sum) for lunch. Au Sze, our host, ordered practically the entire menu for us to enjoy family style. Some of the dishes we enjoyed included Lotus Seed Rolls, Rice Noodle Rolls, and, my personal favorite, fried prawns with a sweet mayo sauce 🫠.

After lunch, we went to the Filipino Market – a place famous for their pearls! We shopped around for some souvenirs and got some cool outfits, nifty trinkets, and very nice jewelry. We concluded our day by heading back over to the Seminary and teaching our last sessions, giving Au Sze and Carl gifts and celebrating Rebekah’s 23rd birthday 🥳.

Thanks to everyone for your support and prayers back home. We look forward to our last full day in Malaysia tomorrow and flying over to Indonesia on Saturday.

God Bless,

Brady Z.
