Missions Week 2018: Urban Promise Arkansas

This year during Baylor Missions Week we were fortunate enough to have some of our Missions partners share in Baylor’s Chapel on Monday morning about what “missions” means to them. Our hope in sharing these videos on the blog is that they were inspire to live out what missions means for you every day and not just on mission trips! In this video, Kristen and Nyisha of UrbanPromise Arkansas share what living out missions has looked like in their lives. Take a look!

Kristin Walker serves at UrbanPromise Arkansas. UrbanPromise Arkansas seeks to equip children and young adults through Christ with the skills necessary for academic achievement, life management, personal growth and servant leadership.  Nyisha Dozier, a senior in high school, has worked as a StreetLeader in UrbanPromise summer camps and the after-school program for the past year and a half.  At UrbanPromise, she is a beloved mentor and praise dance teacher. She participates in JROTC and theatre dance at school.  Kristin Walker served at the UrbanPromise in Wilmington, Delaware for 8 years before moving back home in 2016 to North Little Rock, AR to start an UrbanPromise in her hometown.
