Our final group of students has recently returned to campus after a summer of serving others, rounding out a year of Baylor Missions service opportunities throughout the world.

Through the generous gifts of friends, family, and alumni, our students are expanding their worldview and living out Baylor’s mission.

The missions experience is captured best by student participants, like Guillermo Gonzalez, a student in Instrumental Music Education and member of the Kenya Men’s Choir team, who shared the following reflection:

“Through this Baylor mission trip, I realized that I want to improve the lives of those around me. We can’t go on missions trip every weekend, but we can surely do the same work back home. As a future teacher, I am even more passionate about education and giving a voice to those who otherwise might not be heard.”

Baylor University is planning for a day when 1,000 students travel with Baylor Missions each year to serve others through their areas of academic interest and to discern their calling. The University continues the pursuit of endowed funds for Baylor Missions to support this work and the students who could otherwise not participate in these life-changing experiences. Your support is propelling us toward these goals that are vital to Baylor’s mission to educate men and women for worldwide leadership and service by integrating academic excellence and Christian commitment within a caring community. Because of you, our students are making a difference throughout the world.
