Faith
The only thing that has had a greater influence on my life than my father, is my Faith. I believe that God has a plan for everyone, and that He brings us through our daily trials with mercy and compassion. Everyday I remember that "It is of the Lord's mercy that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not." As a part of my faith as a Christian, I am compelled to serve God. I am not perfect, but I try to honor Him in all that I do. Under the pseudonym Poor Richard, Benjamin Franklin wrote, "What is serving God? 'Tis doing good to man." I believe this wholeheartedly. Therefore, I make sure I dedicate time each year to some type of community service.
