In memory of Matt “Guitar” Murphy, born in 1929 in Sunflower, Mississippi, dead at age 88. If you know him only from his great work with the Blues Brothers, you don’t know enough of him. May he rest in peace.

I can always count on you to expand my cultural base which is meager but growing nicley. And this is absolutely a fine example of something I will explore and grow with, This music brings every player into a uniforn sound. Meaning they play the notes that enhance the guitar but do not overwhelm it. I want to thank you for this introduction.
Is there a fund established in his memory where by contributions can expand his effect upon people and particularly young people?
