Remembering Ellsworth Kelly

My column this week remembers American abstract painter Ellsworth Kelly who died last month at age 92.  More than any other artist I know, he explored the subtle richness of color and how colors interact with each other and their environment in the most vivid and energetic way.  Read it HERE.

Ellsworth Kelly’s Dallas Panels (Blue, Green, Black, Red), 1989, is his largest piece, and is installed in the soaring atrium of the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, home of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
